Perkins vs cummins vs caterpillar.

In our diesel engine industry of today, especially for power generstion purpose, we cannot under estimate the benefit from these 3 engines mentioned above. Perkins is an absolute loved by most, caterpillar is reliable( using it though) and cummins, a rugged spec.  But we keep asking questions about which is the best.  Perkins as we all know is a very popular engine, and has unparralled spare parts availability, caterpillar is more or less a premium engine( some say if u have the mony go for caterpillar) and cummins is a very rugged and seems capable of witstanding more stress. But for all these pros, they still have there disadvantages.  Perkins for one i know is now so common, and hence more availability of fake parts, and hence less reliability. Even some of the so called manufacturer in Nigeria import lower quality components to assemble their machine,in a bid to cut cost,. This has really made me doubt the reliability of our made in Nigeria, perkins powered generators, though their are a few companies you can trust. On the other hand caterpillar is more or less a monopoly,their is just one officially recognised dealer in Nigeria,as such no room for healthy competition. Thats why people prefer to go for the aftermarket during maintainace Or the fake parts.  Cummins has also has similar monopoly issue like caterpillar, and also its parts are somtimes not readily available.
Still contemplating which is the best.

The menace of fake generator part

Fake parts is no longer news anymore, in fact these days, people especially the quack technicians , see fake parts as the fastest way to make mony from clients. They collect fund for original engine part , and go ahead and buy lower quality ones, thus affording them the opportunity to pocket the excess fund. And at the end of the day, we get generators and automobiles running inefficiently thus increasing carbon emission into the atmosphere because of the engagement of low quality in lieu of manafacturer's standard.   Many business men especially the igbos( i am igbo man) has made fortunes on these fake parts, because most times they tune their prices below the prices of the original( who no like cheap thing mentality always come into play). Funny enough, the standard organisation of Nigeria is doing nothing about this.
Year after year, these dubious business men and technicians continue to perfect their activities, to the detriment of the ignorant consumers.
If u dont know about it, u can neva spot the difference, ths best bet is for you to go to a reputable generator dealer.
Make the world a better place, lets keep our integrity and stay away from substandard engine component.

can they have our girls??

It’s been weeks now since foreign military personnel came to Nigeria to help us with the search for the abducted missing girls.
However, till date, they have not recorded any major breakthrough. When I learnt that foreign countries have agreed to help Nigeria, I thought we would be getting the result of their intervention immediately, but our hope is now returning to the despair it was before the foreign powers agreed to help. So what will be the fate of the girls now? , whats the way?... Should we leave our girls for them to continue with whatever treatment they are goin through there?..  These and many other questions we need answers to.
